Gifty Ampadu Adjei, Ph.D, is an Attending Clinical Psychologist at Montefiore Health System in New York and Program Evaluation Consultant for Vaughn Associates.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Anthropology from Dartmouth College; a Masters of Arts, in Clinical Psychology Practices from the University of Hartford; and completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Multiculturalism and Research Methodology from the University of Rhode Island. Her research interests include treatment utilization and engagement among racial and ethnic minorities, mental health literacy, and global mental health. She is also interested in program evaluation and outcomes research with community agencies focused on mental health promotion and substance abuse prevention.
