Gretchen Vaughn, Ph.D is a licensed clinical psychologist and program evaluator who has devoted her career to community-rooted prevention and mental health services for under-served populations. As the founder and principal of Vaughn Associates, she works extensively with academic institutions, state and federal agencies, tribal communities, faith based communities and nonprofit organizations to provide consultation, supervision, virtual and in-person training and technical assistance, program evaluation, and policy analysis. She specializes in developing culturally focused data informed strategic approaches that build on intergenerational strengths and community resilience.

Dr. Vaughn is a licensed clinical psychologist and program evaluator who has devoted her career to community-rooted prevention and mental health services for under-served populations. Dr. Vaughn received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Yale University and her doctorate in clinical/community psychology from The George Washington University . She completed her pre-doctoral psychology internship at Howard University as well as a Group, Family, and Organizational Psychology fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital
