Stephen Hill Not My Kid: Parent Program

We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, the Primary Prevention Project is hosting a special program for parents and community members at Lake of Isles, 1 Clubhouse Dr, North Stonington, CT.

Our keynote speaker is Stephen Hill, a renowned national speaker on mental health promotion and substance use prevention with a truly inspiring comeback story that everyone must hear.

Stephen is the founder of Speak Sobriety, a young person in recovery, bestselling author, recovery coach, and an attorney. He has presented in front of thousands of people for over 750 schools and coalitions across the country, sharing his cautionary tale of addiction to recovery and beyond.

Through knowledge gained from his own personal and professional experience, Stephen shows parents how to build resilient kids to make healthy choices and overcome adversity. Parents and community members will be equipped with essential insights gained through his lived experience and learn strategies needed to foster resilience, support mental well-being, and prevent substance use in young people.
